Kids Try Hockey for Free Day at Playland Ice Saturday,November 8th at 4:45pm
The Westchester Mariners and Playland Ice invite boys and girls ages 4-9 to experience the game of hockey. The Try Hockey For Free clinic on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 4:45pm will offer a free introductory skate lesson with professional instruction teaching basic skills in a fun, safe environment. No prior skating experience is required.
“Our goal is for these families to enjoy watching their kids learn new skills, especially ones that have such longevity,” says Director of the Westchester Mariners Mite Program, Art DellaSalla.
USA Hockey's Try Hockey For Free program, with the support of the National Hockey League, NHL member clubs and others, is designed to provide youth hockey associations a national platform to introduce new kids to the sport. Over 500 locations will offer this unique opportunity to kids nationwide. The Westchester Mariners are looking forward to participating.
