Author J. Courtney Sullivan Speaking at Library Annual Meeting

J. Courtney Sullivan, author of the New York Times bestselling novels Commencement, Maine and The Engagements, will be a guest speaker at the Annual Meeting of the Rye Free Reading Room on Sunday, January 25, 2015.

The Annual Meeting of Members starts at 3:30 pm followed at 4 pm by guest speaker Sullivan who will offer an in-depth look at marriage, love and diamonds as revealed in her latest book, The Engagements.

Ms.Sullivan is the author of the New York Times bestselling novels Commencement, Maine and The Engagements. Maine was named a Best Book of the Year by Time magazine, and a Washington Post Notable Book for 2011. The Engagements was one of People Magazine's Top Ten Books of 2013 and an Irish Times Best Book of the Year. It is soon to be a major motion picture produced by Reese Witherspoon and distributed by Fox 2000.

Elections for Board Officers and Trustees will be held during the brief business meeting at 3:30. Only members of the Rye Free Reading Room may vote, but everyone is invited to attend and to enjoy the social hour and talk by Ms. Sullivan. Copies of her books will be available for purchase and signing.
