Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony: Organizer Comments

MyRye.com asked Memorial Day parade organizer Robin Latimer what she thought of the entire affair: "What a lovely day for a parade and ceremony.  Everyone was enthusiastic and showed there support to our Veterans which always fills my heart.  We had quite a diverse selection of participants from school children, elected officials, antique cars, Wells Fargo Stagecoach, K-9 for Warriors, a calliope from Harrison Paint Supply, Antique fire trucks from Larchmont Historical Society, and Rye Fire & Rye Police Depts.," said Latimer.

"Rye's Community Organizations came out in force to show their support as well.  I am thankful for all who participated and those who helped me put this together.  I appreciate it greatly."

Robin is the spouse of State Senator George Latimer.
