Balles Up in a Sling: Rye Arrests Skell Working Scam at Wells Fargo Bank
Rye City PD is reporting they have busted a skell by the name of Raul Coballes who was allegedly part of a telephone phishing scam. Another reason to get rid of that home phone and use your mobile… Coballes was arrested in the local Wells Fargo bank attempting to withdraw money from the victim's account.

On January 27, 2016 the City of Rye Police arrested the below individual for the following crimes:
Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd degree
Criminal Impersonation 2nd degree
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree
RAUL L. COBALLES
AGE – 52 YRS.
RESIDENCE [not for long] – BRONX, NY
At approximately 1:30 pm the defendant did enter Wells Fargo bank within the City of Rye and presented Fraudulent Id representing himself to be another individual in an attempt to withdraw money from the victim’s account. After his apprehension it was learned that the victim was defrauded under a telephone phishing scam. Defendant was arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail.
