SATURDAY, MAY 7

Opening Day – Noon – 7 p.m.
Parade at Fountain Plaza 11 a.m.; gates open at noon. $15 wristbands for unlimited rides all day. Parking $7.
Marshlands Conservancy, Route 1 (Boston Post Road), Rye – (914) 835-4466
Volunteer Work Project – 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Bring work gloves and help beautify the hiking trails for spring. Hand tools provided.
Edith Read Wildlife Sanctuary (behind the Playland parking lot): 1pm Home Gardening for Pollinators
Butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds are just a few of the pollinators that need our support. Learn the basics of planting your garden to attract them. Tour our demonstration Garden. Presented by Karen Thomas of the Rye Garden Club.
