Town Hall Meeting on Youth and Substance Use is Tuesday; Hosted by Rye ACT
In the wake of another local devastating loss of a young person, the Rye ACT coalition is hosting a town hall meeting on youth and substance use this Tuesday, May 24, at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held at the Resurrection Church Auditorium (the former Methodist Church (88 Milton Road).
The Town Hall will provide an opportunity for community members to hear the results from the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) survey administered to Rye Middle and High School students in November 2014 and to engage in open dialog with one another and with members of the coalition around this issue. The meeting will also showcase the student winners of the Clear Minds marijuana awareness poster contest.
