Rye High Students Launch Web News App

Rye High School students, as part of a Web Journalism course, have launched a web app with school and community news. In a note, Rye High Principal Patricia Taylor said "We are thrilled to announce The Garnet Mine can now be found on an application that can be downloaded to your phone or device. The Garnet Mine is a daily news bulletin created in the new Web Journalism course."

Items range from a recent hock win to a review of Bare Burger on Purchse Street to a Student of the Day ("SoTD") feature. You can find the app by typing https://thegarnetmine.com/ into your web browser.
