Con Ed Shuts Power to Rye Middle and High School

In a notice to parents mid-day Wednesday, school boss Brian Monahan told parents Con Ed was shutting power to the schools between 3-4pm. The power outage impacted X-period and after school activities. School spokesperson Sarah Derman told MyRye.com "Con Ed is finishing the repairs from the storm the other night."
No word on why Con Ed can't seem to do this outside of school hours. Someone should send Con Ed to detention.
