Restaurant Review: Korean BBQ Grill in New Rochelle
If you are fan of Korean food, we recommend the Korean BBQ Grill, a short 20 minute drive down the Boston Post Road in New Rochelle.

(PHOTO: Magical bubble tea comes in 20 different flavors such as mango, coconut, watermelon, cappuccino and lychee.)
The no frills eat in or take out storefront on Main Street has comfortable tables and a friendly staff. We recommend the deep fried squid – far better that the standard run of the mill "calamari" and the bubble tea.
If you have not had bubble tea, it is a cold, tea based drink that comes in fruit and other flavors such as cappuccino, and at the bottom sits flavored tapioca balls that shoot up your drinking straw. Yes, it is hard to explain, but unusual, fun and delicious.

The spicy chicken wings are a favorite, and you cannot go wrong with the classic bi-bim-bab – the hot stone bowl full of rice, veggies and egg. We prefer the beef or spicy pork versions, but you can also choose chicken or vegetable.
MyRye.com is always on the search for good ethnic eating within that 20-25 minute radius of Rye, and the Korean BBQ Grill has earned a place on our food circuit.
