Experts Present Learnings @ Rye School Buildings, Thursday 7pm

FNI

Experts from Fielding Nair International (FNI), a "global leader in education planning and architectural design" will present their learnings from studying the Rye school districts physical buildings and outdoor spaces this Thursday at 7pm. See the details below in the school's invitation, and a video about FNI.

Dear Rye Community,

Please join me this Thursday, October 19, at 7:00 p.m. at the Middle School Multipurpose Room as I welcome representatives from the innovative educational planning and architectural firm of Fielding Nair International (FNI). FNI was engaged by the District last spring to conduct a comprehensive space study of all the District's physical buildings and outdoor spaces. Their charge is to evaluate their current use and provide us with recommendations about using them more efficiently and effectively now, and what changes we could make to meet the educational needs of our students and faculty in the future.

FNI has spent a great deal of time in our buildings over the course of the summer and fall. I invite you to come hear about their learnings and to give them your thoughts and feedback. They will also provide a brief overview of the work they have done in other school districts, including those nearby (Edgemont, Bronxville and Chappaqua) and some far away (Dubai, UAE and Kazan, Russia). For more Information on FNI and their projects, visit www.fieldingnair.com

I look forward to seeing you on October 19.

Sincerely,

Eric Byrne, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
