Photos Sought for 45th Annual “Marshlands in Pictures” Photo Exhibit

Celebrate the beauty of Marshlands Conservancy in Rye by submitting photos taken of the conservancy to be displayed in the 45th annual Marshlands Photography Exhibit.

All photos must have been taken at Marshlands and must be framed and wired for hanging. A maximum of three entries per person will be accepted and there is no size limit. Dates for submission are Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6 and 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

The exhibit will open on Sunday, Oct. 14, at 2 p.m., with a reception for the exhibitors and the public, served courtesy of the Friends of Marshlands. It will be on view weekends through Sunday, Dec. 2, at the conservancy’s visitor center. The annual photography exhibit is sponsored by Westchester County Parks and the Friends of Marshlands.

Marshlands Conservancy is a 173-acre nature preserve featuring woods, freshwater ponds, streams, salt marsh and field habitats. It is located on the Boston Post Road (Route 1) in Rye, just south of the Rye Golf Club.
