Last Mile Grace Church Street Bridge Demolition Starts Wednesday Night

More chaos at the Grace Church Street overpass due to the New York State Thruway Authority's Last Mile Project:

The New York State Thruway Authority has just provided the following update on the Last Mile Project:

The demolition of the closed portion of the Grace Church Street Bridge will start tonight and continue for approximately two weeks. This work is occurring overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

There will also be a traffic pattern shift on the I-287 eastbound to I-95 northbound ramp to move traffic onto the temporary ramp while the permanent ramp is being constructed.
