RFFR MyRye.com Storytelling Project Episode #2 - Rye Author Annabel Monaghan

Over the last few weeks we have asked various Rye citizens – elected officials, city staff, community leaders and local authors – to read a story for the youngest citizens of Rye. Each day, we will share a new story.

Today, Rye Author Annabel Monaghan reads Sophie Blackall’s Hello Lighthouse. Monaghan is a 15-year resident of Rye and lives on Drake Smith Lane with her husband and three sons. She is the author of two novels for young adults, A Girl Named Digit and Double Digit. She is also the author of Does This Volvo Make My Butt Look Big? a collection of essays based on her column that appears on the Huffington Post, The Week and The Rye Record. She teaches novel writing at The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College.

Tommy Monaghan was the executive producer of this video. Apollo the dog provided emotional support.
