Newbies: Osborn School Welcomes Vera Tymochko, Music, Osborn School (Orchestra)

The Rye City School District is welcoming sixteen newbies this year. Most of these faces are new to the district, and a few are old hands in new positions.

The Osborn School welcomes Vera Tymochko, Music, Osborn School (Orchestra)

Ms. Tymochko is a familiar face to music students at Osborn School having taught as a part time music teacher at Osborn last year. Previously, she worked at St. Vincent Ferrer High School in Manhattan where she led the Music Department from 2015-2019. Prior to working in New York City, she taught music at the Mount Kisco Elementary School. From 2007-2015, she taught piano at the Rye Arts Center. She has operated a private piano studio since 2008. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Manhattan School of Music and a Master of Arts in Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
