Newbies: Rye Middle School Welcomes Christopher Caliendo, Social Studies

The Rye City School District is welcoming sixteen newbies this year. Most of these faces are new to the district, and a few are old hands in new positions.

Rye Middle School welcomes Christopher Caliendo, Social Studies

Mr. Caliendo comes to Rye from the Garrison Union Free School District, where he taught 6th grade World History and 7th and 8th grade U.S. History classes for the past six years. Prior to teaching in Garrison, he taught at the Phoenix Academy in Ulster Park and the Archimedes Academy in the Bronx for three years, respectively. Mr. Caliendo has a Bachelor of Arts in History with a concentration in Adolescent Education from Mount Saint Mary College, a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in U.S. History from SUNY New Paltz, and a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership from Saint Thomas Aquinas College.
