Newbies: The District Welcomes Lizbeth Burrow, Music Teacher, Orchestra, RMS and RHS

The Rye City School District is welcoming sixteen newbies this year. Most of these faces are new to the district, and a few are old hands in new positions.

The District welcomes Lizbeth Burrow, Music Teacher, Orchestra, RMS and RHS.

Lizbeth Burrow, Rye Middle & High School, 2020

Ms. Burrow comes to Rye from the Liverpool Central School District near Syracuse, N.Y., where she taught high school Orchestra and taught violin, viola, cello, and bass small group lessons, grades 9-12, for the past seven years. Prior to teaching in Liverpool, she taught in the South Colonie, Cornwall, and Wappingers Central School Districts. In addition to teaching, she has worked as a private violin and viola teacher for elementary through high school students from 2009 to the present, as a summer strings camp counselor, and as a music theory and aural skills tutor. She has a Bachelor of Music degree from SUNY Fredonia and a Master of Music degree from Ithaca College.
