Newbies: The Rye Middle School welcomes Anna Sousa Stahlie, French
The Rye City School District is welcoming sixteen newbies this year. Most of these faces are new to the district, and a few are old hands in new positions.
The Rye Middle School welcomes Anna Sousa Stahlie, French
Ms. Stahlie comes to RMS from the Fox Lane Middle School in Bedford, NY, where she taught English as a New Language and tutored middle and high school students in French. She worked as an Adjunct Professor of ESL (English as a Second Language) at both SUNY Purchase College and Westchester Community College and taught 8th grade French and Italian at Fox Lane Middle School. She has a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and French from CUNY Hunter College and a Master of Professional Studies in TESOL (Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages). She is multilingual in English, French, Spanish, and Italian.
