Garbage & Recycling Schedule Changes for November
Due to the three holidays in the month of November, the City of Rye is adjusting the garbage and recycling schedule adjustments for the month:
Week of 11/2
- Election Day: Tuesday, November 3rd is a City government holiday and there will
be NO trash and recycling pick-up, - Regularly scheduled Tuesday pick-up (garbage and recycling) will shift to
Wednesday, November 4th, - Food Scraps will be picked up as usual on Wednesday,
- Green Waste will not have regularly scheduled Wednesday pick-up but please
leave your green waste on the curb and rolling pick-ups will occur in that week.
Week of 11/9
- Veterans Day is Wednesday, November 11th and there will be no City Services,
- There will be no Food Scrap curbside collection but drop-off is still available that
week, - Green waste will not have regularly scheduled Wednesday pick-up but please
leave your green waste on the curb and rolling pick-ups will occur in that week
Week of 11/16
- No holidays this week
- The regular schedule for garbage, recycling, Food Scraps, green waste, etc, will
apply
Week of 11/23
- Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26th and there will be no City Services
- Regularly scheduled Thursday pick-up (garbage and recycling) will shift to
Wednesday, November 25th - There will be no Food Scrap curbside collection but drop-off is still available that
week - Green Waste will not have regularly scheduled Wednesday pick-up but please
leave your green waste on the curb and rolling pick-ups will occur in that week - The regular garbage and recycling schedule will apply for Friday, November 27th
