Girls Varsity Tennis Zeroes Edgemont in Season Opener

Girls Varsity Tennis zeroed Edgemont in their season opener Thursday. Rye dominated with a score of 7-0 at the away game.

This was the first match of their Rye High School Varsity Tennis careers for freshmen Dylin Pizzutello and Sofia Nunez. “Dylin and her doubles partner, senior co-captain Courtney Lopp, and Sofia and her doubles partner senior co-captain Liz Peron, both had convincing 8-1 wins in their debuts,” said Coach Anthony Campbell.

Rye will play the second of a back to back with Edgemont Friday at Disbrow Park.
