Dear RHS Families, Students, Faculty and Staff,
The District has spoken with all families and faculty/staff who were exposed to the COVID-19 positive individual at Rye High School to direct them that they need to quarantine according to direction from the New York State Department of Health (DOH). The DOH is in the process of contacting those in quarantine for this case; however, we understand their backlog is significant.
We are cleared to reopen Rye High School for students, faculty, and staff to physically return to the building tomorrow. Athletics practices and contests are cancelled for today, Monday, but will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon. As a reminder, please complete the daily health assessment by 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Sincerely,Eric Byrne, Ed.D.Superintendent of Schools
