New COVID Case at Midland, RHS to Open Friday

Rye schools reported a new COVID case at Midland School Thursday, but said no action is needed by the school community. In a separate notice, it said Rye High School would reopen Friday after closing in the late morning Thursday.

Dear Midland School Community,

The District has been notified that an individual associated with Midland School has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual is in quarantine and has not been at the school since Friday, November 6th. There is no need for contact tracing or additional quarantining by anyone associated with the school.

Please know that we will continue to do everything within our power to keep the Midland School community safe.
