Varsity Girls Soccer Falls to Mamaroneck in Last Minute

After a double OT tie game Tuesday, Varsity Girls Soccer traveled down the Post Road to Mamaroneck for a second match-up. In a mid-day game Saturday, the teams went into the final minute tied at 1-1 before Mamaroneck landed a winning goal with only 45 seconds left in the game, taking a 2-1 win.

Goalie for Rye was Amanda Latkany and the goal scorer for Rye was Caroline Stevens. Head Coach Rich Savage had to sit out the game in quarantine. Maddy Eck, the assistant coach and former graduate of RHS, coached the squad today.
