Girls Varsity Basketball Puts Eastchester in the Hutch

Rye Girls Varsity Volleyball put Eastchester in the hutch Friday, taking 3 of 5 sets. The performance improves the teams season to an even 2-2.

“This was such a great game!,” said Rye Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach Geri Jones. “The girls played scrappy volleyball and held on to pull out a win in the end. Maddie Slattery ran the offense. Mara Ball led the team with 20 kills. Alex Rosales played strong defense keeping us in the game, while Julie Halasz kept the offense a consistent threat.”
