Girls Varsity Volleyball Sinks Port Chester in Three Sets
Rye Girls Varsity Volleyball sunk Port Chester in three straight sets on Wednesday. The team evened its season to 3-3.
“The girls definitely came to play today,” said Rye Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach Geri Jones. “Julie Halasz led the team defensively with 8 digs and had 3 kills and 3 aces for the Garnets. Natasha Meyer, Mara Ball, and Leyla Murati had 4 kills apiece for Rye. Maddie Slattery led the offense with 15 assists. I am very proud of how they came back from yesterday’s loss determined to play their game and get the win.”
