Rye Boys Varsity Basketball MVP: Alex Vollbrecht

The Boys Varsity Basketball MVP for the winter 2021 season is senior Alex Vollbrecht.
“Alex is a three year Varsity and led us on both sides of the court this year,” said Rye Boys Varsity Basketball Coach John Aguilar. “He anchored a tremendous defense and helped guide us to three wins in our last five games.”
Vollbrecht, #21, averaged 12.5 points per game, 8.5 rebounds per game, 1 steal per game and 1.5 blocks per game. He is headed to Boston College in the fall.
