Following a 33 game series from the 50s through the 90s the football fortunes of the PELHAM PELICANS waned to participation in the Section One Developmental League.
Decades earlier like Eastchester, Rye and Harrison, Pelham Memorial was a SWIAC and CWL charter member (southern Westchester small schools) and nest third of all Garnet antagonists in games played at 49. These tropical birds don’t cotton to the northern climes as told by the 42-5-2 (.857) historic tally.
Victims of 20 straight crash landings versus the Garnets and a paltry five wins in sixty-seven years, look for the Blue and White to try to spread the pandemic at Parkway Field.
