Free Compost Saturday 7am – 2pm
You though Earth Day was over? Tired from signing up for NY State incentives for a new geothermal heat pump and community solar?
Your garden hopes you have some (human!) energy left because you can score some free compost on Saturday between 7am and 2pm at Disbrow Park.
Here are the details:
- Saturday, April 24th 7am-2pm;
- Free compost available to City of Rye residents;
- Bring a shovel and a container (maximum size 35 gallons);
- Wear a mask;
- Compost will be located near the food scrap recycling dropoff site at Disbrow Park, 141 Oakland Beach Avenue;
- Compost is available while supplies last. First come, first served;
- Food Scrap Recycling starter kits will be available for purchase. Credit cards only.
