Girls Varsity Lacrosse Doubles Lakeland 18-9 in Season Opener

Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse doubled Lakeland 18-9 in its season opener at Nugent Stadium.

“Today’s game truly showcased our athleticism, talent and buy-in,” said the new Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse Coach Michelle Mason. “We had threats throughout the field and look forward to building on today’s performance. Key game pieces were multiple players putting up multiple points, defense closing out and interceptions in the ride. Shout out to Maddy Walsh, Ellie Hedges, Lilly Whaling, Caroline Stevens and Sophie Brett for anchoring both ends of the field.”
