Girls Varsity Volleyball Netted by Pelham
Rye Girls Varsity Volleyball was netted by Pelham in three sets at an away game on Wednesday.
“We held our own throughout each match, however, we made too many mistakes to capitalize on what we did well,” said Rye Girls Varsity Volleyball Geri Jones. “Our defense was our strength today. We were led by Mara Ball and Julie Halasz with 17 digs each, and Natasha Meyer with 16.”
Meyer led the offense with 9 kills. Rye sees Pelham again Friday at home.
