Overcoming Rain, Wind & COVID Protocols, 200 Run in Rye Derby

Rye YMCA Rye Derby Race Start 04-25-2021

As if COVID protocols were not enough, the 200 runners lucky enough to secure a spot in this year’s Rye YMCA Rye Derby also overcame rain and wind on Sunday during the 5K race.

Winners were for the men Nathan Lee of West Harrison, Age 13, Chip time: 17:11:62 and for the women Elizabeth Eickleberg of Mamaroneck, Age 29, Chip time: 18:01.18.

A separate Healthy Kids Day will be held on June 13.
