The Girls Varsity Cheerleading MVP for the “Fall II” 2021 season is senior Emma Jackson. Emma Jackson is a four year varsity cheerleader who was voted team captain two years in a row.
“She is kind, caring, and dedicated to the sport and the rest of her team,” said Girls Varsity Cheerleading Coach Melissa Marsden. “She is one of the first ones at practice and one of the last to leave the gym. Emma has been with us since the beginning of our transition into a fully competitive team and has been nothing but supportive and open to all of the changes. She is a powerful base which allowed her stunt group to achieve some of the highest level stunts in Rye Cheer history. Emma will be dearly missed here at Rye Cheerleading.”
