Girls Varsity Lacrosse & The Dog Days of Somers

It felt like the dog days of summer for Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse today, as the team fell to Somers 12-9 in its first loss of the season.

“Today’s game was a tough battle against a gritty and talented Somers team,” said Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse Coach Michelle Mason. “Our team showed the ability to make defensive adjustments and our buy in to our ride continues to be a strength. Excited to work on specific pieces of our game that Somers highlighted and prep for Mahopac!”
