Girls Varsity Track Runs Second at Rasbeck Relays

Girls Varsity Track took second place at the Rasbeck Relays held at Irvington High School on Friday. “This was most medals girls have won at this meet and have been going for many years,” said Rye Girls Varsity Track & Field Coach John McGee.

• Girls took 1st place in 400 relay with a time of 52.4 (Cate Doyle, Maddy Childs, Megyn Coyne, Katie Coyne);
• Shuttle hurdle relay 1st place. (Cate Doyle, Sophia Sciulli and Logan Brady);
• 800 relay. 1st place 1:52.4 (Cameron Bibas, Cate Doyle, Katie Coyne and Sophia Shoemaker)
• 1600 relay. 1st place 4:13.4 (Cameron Bibas, Maddy Childs, Megyn Coyne and Katie Coyne);
• 3200 relay 1st place 10:59.2 (Bella Lulaj, Sophie Bourne, Devon O’Donnell and Jessica Bourne);
• Distance Medley Relay 2nd. (Bella Lulaj, Sophia Shoemaker, Sophie Bourne, Jessica Bourne);
• High jump 2nd place (Cameron Bibas and Devon O’Donnell);
• Shot 1st (Logan Brady Maya Egan and Isabella Gagliano).
