Rye Boys Varsity Soccer was sent the wrong direction by Eastchester on Monday, falling in a 2-3 loss at the away game.

“Zach Levitt opened the scoring for the Garnets early in the first half by neatly tucking away a through ball from Jack Childs,” said Rye Boys Varsity Soccer Coach Jared Small. “The Garnets conceded a goal off a long throw-in later in the half to send the game into halftime tied at 1-1. John Sterkaj had an opportunistic goal to put the team up 2-1 before Rye surrendered another goal off a long throw-in to even the score at 2-2. Eastchester put in the game winner in the closing minutes for the come from behind win.”

The team’s record moves to 3-2-1. They play again at 5pm Wednesday vs. Pelham. Watch it here.
