Girls Varsity Field Hockey Traps Ketcham, Extends Streak

The streak continues. Rye Girls Varsity Field Hockey trapped Ketcham on Saturday with a commanding 8-2 win at Nugent Stadium. The team remains undefeated with a season record of 7-0.

“This is the best game I’ve seen this team play so far this season,” said Rye Girls Varsity Field Hockey Coach Kelly Vegliante. “It took 11 players playing together today and that is exactly what we did. These girls played every minute of this game like the score was 0-0. They never let up. Conditioning was a key element today. Their hard work paid off. Looking forward to facing John Jay Cross River on Monday. One game at a time.”
