Rye High Students Have National Merit

Four Rye High School seniors have been named National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists. The students earned the recognition by scoring well on the PSAT/NMSQT test (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) taken during their junior year.

Of the over 1.5 million juniors in about 21,000 high schools nationwide who took the test, approximately 16,000 were named semifinalists. Rye High School’s four semifinalists are:

Luke Lepore
Sophie Molitor
Lainey Noga
Sean Yu
