Boo!

The Osborn Scare Fair – the annual “Scare Fair” Halloween Carnival produced by the Osborn School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is being blown into next Tuesday.

If you did not realize it already, Tuesday is a Superintendent’s conference day for the Rye City School District, so there is no school for students. Now you can take the kids to the Scare Fair, and on the way there or the way home, you can teach your own civics lesson by taking the kids with you to vote (some people also consider this its own “scare fair”!).

Back to the Osborn Scare Fair, on Tuesday you will find family-friendly event featuring rides and attractions for all ages, including:

• Ultimate Survivor Zip Line Obstacle Course
• Inflatable Fun House Obstacle Course
• Wrecking Ball Inflatable
• Kiddie Bounce
• Train Ride
• Many Carnival-style Games
• Cake Walk, Sand Art, Pumpkin Carving & Painting

Let’s not forget the food! Guests will also be able to purchase delicious snacks and lunch from local favorite food trucks and vendors including Longfords, Crazy Taco Mex, The Melt and Walter’s Hot Dogs. Attendees can also sample an array of authentic Japanese cuisine including rice balls, candies and soda at the Japanese PTO booth.
