Boys and Girls XC Deliver a Good Run

The Boys and Girls XC teams competed in the League 2C Cross Country Championship at Edgemont High School on Tuesday. Rye had a cumulative 95 points vs. the top team with 33 points. The score put Rye in 4th place in both the girls and boys League Championship.

“The boys team was led by Dom Cich who placed 8th overall,” said Cross Country Coach Michael Szarkowicz. “The Girls team was led by Charlotte Spierings who placed 9th overall.”

The next scheduled varsity meet is at the Cross County Championships at Somers on Saturday, October 23rd.
