Girls Varsity Swimming & Diving MVP: Sophia Lord

MyRye.com is featuring varsity team MVPs from the Fall 2021 sports season. The MVPs have been selected by each coach. A big MyRye.com congratulations to all the MVPs.

The Girls Varsity Swimming & Diving MVP is freshman Sophia Lord.

“Sophia worked really hard all season,” said Girls Varsity Swimming & Diving Coach Kelly Johanson. “She placed 1st or 2nd in almost every individual event at all of our dual meets. She earned All League at Divisionals. She was also All Section. At Sectionals she placed 6th in the 200 IM and 4th in the 100 breaststroke. She was also the anchor on the 400 free relay which placed 9th.”

Lord is currently at the State Championships for the 200 IM.
