11th Annual Christmas Tree Sale at Christ’s Church is Saturday

The 11th annual Christmas tree sale at Christ’s Church is this Saturday, December 4th from 9am – 5pm. The church will have nearly 300 Fraser, Douglas and Concolor trees from a family farm in Pennsylvania for sale at 2 Rectory Street.

The sale was started years ago as a fundraiser by parishioners Francis and Nicole Jenkins. The net proceeds of the Christmas tree sale average about $10,000 (that’s about $35 bucks for a nice looking tree), which helps to support the many programs of Christ’s Church Rye including Meals on Main, Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison, Port Chester Immigrant Defense, Kairos outside NYC, Homefront, 5 Steps to Five, SPRYE, Helping Hands, the Youth Grantmaking Board and Blue Skies summer camp.
