Boys Varsity Swimming Lapped by Yorktown-Somers But Gets Back
Rye Boys Varsity Swimming was lapped by Yorktown-Somers on Friday, falling in the overall meet 76-104.
“We had a great 100 back tonight, Sophomore Will Soviero placed 1st,” said Rye Boys Varsity Swimming Coach Kelly Johanson.
Other highlights:
- Freshman Ethan Zhou won both of his events, remaining undefeated so far this season. He won the 100 fly and the 500 free.
- Sophomore Jon Capaldi placed 1st in the 100 free and 2nd in the 100 breast.
The team’s season shifts to 0-3. They swim on Monday at 4:30pm vs. Mamaroneck.
