Rye Girls Varsity Field Hockey MVP is senior Morgan Puzzuoli.
“Morgan is the MVP this season because she committed herself in the off season to earning a starting position,” said Rye Girls Varsity Field Hockey Coach Kelly Vegliante. “She started every game and was a key player in both our offensive drives and mostly our strong defensive shutdowns. Morgan had the speed and whereabouts to intercept passes and turn those plays into scoring opportunities. She was a true leader and powerhouse in our defensive circle. Morgan put her head down and did her job every single game and was determined to better herself and her teammates at every practice.”
