Rye Schools Closed Wednesday Due to Weather
Rye City schools decided on a full day closure for Wednesday, January 5th after an initial two-hour delay.

Dear RCSD Community,
I had hoped that a 2-hour delay would allow for improved conditions, but the roads north and west of Rye are still icy and treacherous and there have been numerous multiple car accidents that have closed local highways. I apologize, but we will have to close all Rye City schools and offices for the remainder of the day.
