Boys Varsity Swimming Finishes 14th Overall in Sectionals

Rye Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving finished 14th overall in sectionals Wednesday.

“8th grader Finlay Sutherland was our highest placed finisher of the meet,” said Rye Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving Coach Kelly Johanson. “He placed 6th in diving.”

Other sectional highlights:

  • Ethan Zhou placed 7th in the 50 free and 11th in the 100 back
  • The 200 Free Relay (Zhou, Laverty, Capaldi, Redd) finished 12th
  • The 400 free relay (Laverty, Redd, Ladyzhensky, Zhou) finished 13th
