Wainwright House Vigil for Ukraine, this Sunday 5pm

Wainwright House will hold an interfaith prayer vigil for Ukraine this Sunday at 5:00pm outside on their grounds at 260 Stuyvesant Avenue. Attendees are invited to bring a candle and the program is expected to conclude by sunset.

Rye Fire Department chaplain Andrea Raynor will lead the vigil. Local Ukrainian families are expected to attend and various Sound Shore officials are expected. A spokesperson says people will offer words and prayers and there will be a moment of silence in support of the people of Ukraine and world peace.
