Girls Varsity Softball Bitten by the Huskies
Rye Girls Varsity Softball was bitten by the Harrison Huskies on Saturday, falling at home 0-5.
“Well played game by both teams,” said Rye Girls Varsity Softball Coach Alex Tejera. “Their pitcher pitched terrific and they were able to get some timely hits. We played hard and stayed in the game, but just couldn’t get anything going offensively.”
Game highlights included:
- Erin Ball pitched a CG allowing 5 ER
- Ashley Kessner, Cate Margiloff and Tessa Labovitz all got singles for Rye
The season shifts to 5-6. Varsity plays at Pelham on Monday at 4pm – watch it.
