Girls Varsity Softball Falls in One Run Loss to Ardsley
Rye Girls Varsity Softball fell in a one run loss to Ardsley on Wednesday, 3-4.
“We battled until the very end, but came up short,” said Rye Girls Varsity Softball Coach Alex Tejera. “Tough one run loss in the bottom of the last inning. We played hard all game. They should be proud of themselves. Erin Ball pitched a terrific game.”
Game highlights included:
- Ashley Kessner was 1 for 2 2B 2 BB and a RS
- Cate Margiloff was 1 for 3 with an Rbi
- Jesse Galatea was 1 for 3 with 2 Rbi
- Tessa Labovitz was 1 for 3 with a RS
The season shifts to 6-7. Varsity plays at Eastchester on Friday at 4:30pm.
