Liz Sheridan, from Rye & Known a Jerry’s Mom on Seinfeld, Dies at 93.

Liz Sheridan, the actress best known for playing Jerry’s adoring mother on Seinfeld, died in her sleep of natural causes on Friday at age 93.

Sheridan was born in Rye on April 10, 1929.

Her father, Frank Sheridan, was a classical pianist; her mother, Elizabeth Poole-Jones, was a concert singer. She had a romantic relationship with James Dean and wrote a book about it: Dizzy & Jimmy: My Life with James Dean: A Love Story.
