Boys Varsity Baseball Starts Playoffs with Win Over Hen Hud
Rye Boys Varsity Baseball defeated Hen Hud 13-3 in the first round of the Section 1 Class A playoffs on Tuesday.
“Shepherd Griffiths pitched 5 innings of 2 run ball to earn the win,” said Coach Michael Bruno. “Senior Captains Derek Woods (2HRS) and Ryan Surhoff (6RBI) were the catalysts for the Garnet offense,” “First playoff games can be some of the toughest to win.”
