Boys Varsity Tennis Minces Pelham to SPAM, Serves Up Second Place
Rye Boys Varsity Tennis minced Pelham to SPAM on Thursday. Rye is second place in the league.
“As per most matches, the four singles players had great showings,” said Rye Boys Varsity Tennis Sue Dickson. “Today Henry Groves played number one and had a decisive win 6-1,6-0. The match was clinched with the singles players and second and third doubles also won. Captain Jude Lipuma paired with sophomore Henry Bagley to come away with a decisive win 6-4, 6-0. Cian Keegan and Jiawin Hao won an exciting match 6-4, 5-7, and a 10-8 super tiebreaker.”
The season for Rye stands at 7-3.
